The molecular formula NH3, also known as anhydrous ammonia, is a colorless liquid with a strong pungent odor. As an important chemical raw material, ammonia is convenient for transportation and storage. Usually, gaseous ammonia is pressurized or cooled to obtain liquid ammonia. Ammonia is easily soluble in water and dissolves in water to form an ammonium ion NH4+ and a hydroxide ion OH-, which are alkaline alkaline solutions. Liquid ammonia is stored in pressure-resistant cylinders or steel tanks and cannot coexist with substances such as acetaldehyde, acrolein and boron.
